Youth Athletic Development (YAD) Everyday, in every way, we get a little better! YAD will lay a foundation of competence in the Primary Movement Patterns (PMP). Always overlooked, PMP’s are movement patterns that are the foundations of all sports movement and skill. They are what needs to train after our children learn to walk and while learning to play sports. Mastering these basic movement skills are critical to Kinesthetic awareness (balance, coordination, rhythm & timing) which govern levels of ability in Speed, Agility and Quickness.
FOCUS: Learn to "BE An ATHLETE!" LEARN what abilities are needed to be trained and what exercises are included. Learn the proper technique, sequence and volume of exercises that will develop your athleticism. Including Flexibility, Balance & Coordination techniques; DEVELOP- Flexibility, Balance & Coordination; Core & Body Weight Strength, Athletic Posture. Rhythm Timing and Confidence.
